For Film Entries, there is a non-refundable:
Regular deadline entry fee of $30 (Students, $15).
Early Bird submission fee is $25 (Students ,$10)
Late Submission is $35 (Students, $20)
WAB Extended submission, $40 (Students, $25)
Entries must be submitted with the entry fee and entry form which includes, a plot synopsis, cast and crew list, basic technical details and complete contact information. You may submit more than one entry. However, a separate entry form, preview copy and entry fee are required for each title.
For Music Entries, there is a flat, non-refundable fee of $25.
The submissions deadline is a postmarked by deadline.
No, we do not.
To be eligible for our 2011 festival, a film entry must have been completed in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
We prefer you submit online. But if you absolutely cannot submit through our online submission partners (withouitabox.com, sonicbids.com) you may download and complete the 2011 paper entry form.
No, we do not.
We can screen films on 35mm, DigiBeta and BetaSP and Blu Ray.
We can not screen 16mm film prints. For the submission process, we require DVD’s (region 0 or 1)
NO PAL FORMATS accepted. ONLY NTSC.
Filmmakers of any age can submit a film.
You will receive an email notice (or fax or a phone call) from us by August 8, 2011.
Yes. Every film and music submission are screened or listened to completely by our professional film and music programming team. We also hold film entry previews and music entry listening sessions for select members of the community, so our community residents have a hand in the film and music program selection.
No. However, premiere status will be considered for Opening Night or gala screening presentations.
NO. Please send each film on a separate DVD.
If selected, you will also be asked to send press kits (digital, ok) ) which include B&W or color stills from the film, press materials, video trailer (if available) or MPEG video clips for web site inclusion.
Before then, you need to just send us a DVD of your film or in the case of music entries, if you are not applying online, a cd of your music along with your basic entry application information.
We recommend that you have at least film festival rights for your music.
