SUMMER YOUTH FILM CAMP is part of Cinema Entertainment Alliance’s commitment to provide a mentoring, supportive and professional environment for aspiring filmmakers. Teens ages 13-18 are taught the elements of the filmmaking process by film industry professionals.

What is it about?
- It’s about fostering positive self expression in teens.
- It’s about bringing a refreshingly youthful point of view to films on a variety of subjects.
- The objective is for the students to create, develop, produce, shoot and edit film within the two weeks. Activities are hands-on and culminate in the production of a short film produced and directed by SUMMER YOUTH FILM CAMP participants, ages 13-18.
Film Camp Participants will:
- Create a Story and Write a Script
- Direct, Shoot and Act
- Experience what it's like to work on a film set
- Use professional camera and editing equipment
- Watch their films screened at the Temecula Valley Int’l Film & Music Festival in Sept. 9-13, 2009
Film Camp Participants will receive:
- Certificate of Completion
- Copy of Film Camp Short Films Compilation DVD
- Film Camp T-Shirt
- Admission to and Screening of Short Film at the Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival's Young Filmmakers's Showcase, September 9-13, 2009
